Privacy
Last updated October 26, 2026.
Haven is a local publication for the Treasure Valley. This page describes what the public site does with information. It does not publish a personal email address or phone number.
Newsletter
When signup is open, the form is a Beehiiv embed loaded in an iframe. The email address you submit there goes to Beehiiv, not to a Haven server. Beehiiv's privacy policy applies:beehiiv.com/privacy. Until that embed is connected, the site shows a note that the letter is not open, and it does not collect an email address.
Agent introductions
Haven may connect readers with a licensed local real estate agent. The form at Talk with Eli asks for your name, email, an optional phone number, an optional area, and a message.
Submitting the form sends those fields to a webhook chosen by the publisher. That address is configured outside this public site. The note may be shared with Eli, Licensed brokerage name, a licensed local real estate agent, so they can reply. If the webhook is not set up, the form does not keep what you typed.
The form includes a hidden field meant to catch automated submissions. A filled hidden field is discarded and is not forwarded.
If you want a message you sent deleted, send another note through the same form and say so. Deletion depends on whoever receives the webhook.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process connection data, such as an IP address, to serve pages and to run the form endpoint. SeeCloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
Haven's own pages do not run a third-party analytics script and do not set advertising cookies. The Beehiiv iframe, when it is present, may set cookies under Beehiiv's policy. The form endpoint does not set a cookie.
Children
Haven is not directed at children under 13, and the forms are not meant for children.
